ASEAN Social Entrepreneurship Conference 2016

PLUS was very excited to support the ASEAN Social Entrepreneurship Conference in Singapore on July 21 and 22, 2016. The conference was designed to bring together social entrepreneurs from across the region to identify opportunities to work together to grow the ecosystem across the region. Over 2 days, representatives from all the ASEAN countries participated in design thinking workshops and came up with great ideas to help each other bring their goods to market, increase trade, and develop new streams of revenue! Indonesia was represented by eight social entrepreneurs: Kerjabilitas, Nazava, Piksel Indonesia, Javara, TorajaMelo, DNetwork, Tinamitra Mandiri, and Campa Tour & Travel.

These entrepreneurs are working in agriculture, fashion, ecotourism and environment. These amazing entrepreneurs worked with others from around the region to develop ideas for a pilot projects which they presented on the last day of the conference. The three winning pilot ideas have 3 months to try to put their idea into action before coming to Jakarta to compete for a cash prize in a follow up conference in October, in Jakarta. The top ideas that will be competing are:

2. Agrigator.com (Food & Agriculture)
