Youth Co:Lab supports Net Zero by developing environmental-based social enterprises run by young social entrepreneurs in Indonesia. After 3 months of online workshops, 10 entrepreneurs were chosen to connect with environmental ecosystem actors at Matchmaking Bootcamp 2022.
This program was developed to enhance the business capacity and promote mutually beneficial collaboration between managing entities for geographical indication (GI) products, also known as protected geographical indication groups (MPIG).
This report provides insights into the characteristics, challenges, opportunities and impacts of social entrepreneurs in Indonesia, as well as providing an overview of the role of social enterprises and their potential in creating jobs, and social and environmental impacts.
