DESCRIPTION:Singapore International Foundation (SIF) presents the YSE programme which seeks to inspire\, equip and enable young changemakers from around the world to embark on social enterprises (SEs) in Singapore and beyond. If you have a social enterprise idea\, we want to help you make it happen!   Through the YSE programme\, participants will learn from and interact with leading social entrepreneurs\, business professionals and other youth who are keen on social innovation\, while expanding their networks for potential collaborations for good. The YSE programme includes a 4-day workshop in Singapore\, mentorship scheme; overseas study visit and an opportunity to pitch for funding. DESCRIPTION:Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs.  Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming\, business plan development\, and basic prototype creation\, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations.  Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurials.  \n The weekend is centered around action\, innovation\, and education. Whether you are looking for feedback on an idea\, a co-founder\, specific skill sets\, or a team to help you execute\, Startup Weekends are the perfect environment in which to test your idea and take the first steps towards launching your own startup.  \n In collaboration with EV Hive\, TechStars brings you the first ever Startup Weekend in South Tangerang area. It is going to be held on Friday – Sunday\, 9 – 11 December 2016 at EV Hive The Breeze\, BSD City.  \n The theme for the event is INDONESIAN STARTUP 2.0.  Why 2.0? We are looking for creative and disruptive ideas: the next generation of SAAS\, fintech\, agri-tech\, ed-tech\, social innovation\, big data\, and more. You are free to explore and build your idea.
