Fenox VC is hosting the Startup World Cup, a global competition to be run in 11 different cities in search of a startup that Fenox VC will invest $ 1,000,000 in. JFDI is proud to be one of the partners for the Jakarta regional leg happening this month and we wanted to let you know in case you or your startup, or anyone you know is interested in joining. Applications are now open and the deadline for submissions is next week, 10 August 2016. From the pool of applications, 10 startups will be selected to pitch at the regionals (in Jakarta) on 23 August 2016 in front of a group of key investors and regionally successful entrepreneurs.
One startup will be crowned winner in the Jakarta regionals and will win the following:
1. A slot to pitch in the Grand Finale in San Francisco, USA, with a chance of winning $ 1,000,000 in investment from Fenox VC
2. Round trip flight tickets
3. A slot in the Silicon Valley Bootcamp for intensive mentoring prior to the conference / finale pitch
4. Tickets to the attend the Startup World Cup Conference which include investor forums, inspirational discussions, and a lot of networking sessions
